In Maths, we have been making 3D shapes out of pasta and marshmallows. We could choose the shape that we wanted. We made a square-based pyramid, rectangular prism and a tetrahedron. We have moved on to identifying right angles.

In English, we have been writing an adventure story which we could choose ourselves. I chose to write about a child called Oliver, who lived in a mountain. We used the story structure journey: encountering a problem, encountering a further problem, a solution is found and the story ends.

In Geography we have been asking questions to Mrs.Marais’s friend who lives in France
