This is a national award scheme managed by Arts Council England. The scheme, that is open to all schools in England and recognises schools with a high level of provision in the arts. Artsmark Gold is the highest award.

The National Teaching Award is a prestigious national award that recognises outstanding headteachers, teachers, teaching assistants and governors. In recent years Randwick School has gained two awards, both as runners up in the West of England regional final as a Healthy School and for the current headteacher.

Bristol Standard

Bristol Standard award

The Bristol Standard is a self-evaluation framework to help individual Early Years settings to improve on their previous best. It involves working together on developments to improve outcomes for all children and families. The Bristol Standard has been recognised nationally as an example of excellence as practitioners become part of a process that protects and celebrates the wonder of childhood through well-informed and reflective practice.

Activemark is a national award for primary schools that recognises and rewards a school for its commitment to promoting the benefits of physical activity and offering good physical activity provision. The programme provides schools with a thorough auditing and development tool to help raise the standard of physical activity provision.

The British Council offers the International School Award (ISA) as an accreditation framework for schools to record and evaluate their international work and embed it into the curriculum and whole school ethos.

This award celebrates the work of the school in impacting on developing pupils’ awareness of the cultures of other countries, while still promoting an understanding of their own.’

The Green Flag award is the highest level award in the Eco-Schools international program of environmental and sustainable developmental education.

It recognises and celebrates students involvement in decision-making process and activities and raises awareness of sustainable development issues throughout classroom study and community action.

Healthy Schools Award

Healthy Schools Plus

This National Healthy Schools Award is awarded to Randwick in recognition of the health education children receive and the sporting opportunities provided for them. The award is also about physical health, good health and happiness inside and out. A Healthy School involves the whole school community.
